NYSW Sneak Peak: Patchwork Princess by Kathleen Dames

Another beautiful pattern designed this Spring and making it’s first appearance at the New York Sheep & Wool Festival is Patchwork Princess by Kathleen Dames, designed in perennial-favorite STF Brigantia.

Cables, and a hoodie? What a perfect Autumn sweater! And Brigantia is such a great yarn for cables; they just pop.

I have a lot of Brigantia coming to NYSW, too. I even ordered more of the base and dyed up 8 more colors just last week, to make sure I had enough of this base, which is always a favorite with its lovely hand and gigantic skeins.

I’m hoping to borrow Kathleen’s sweater to show off in the booth, because in the craziness that was this summer with my studio move I completely forgot to have my own booth sample knit. In any event, I WILL have pattern coupons, so just ask for one at check out if you’re purchasing the yarn to knit this lovely sweater.

Kathleen is currently designing a sweater in STF Zalti, which we’ll be rolling out online in the near future. So, stay tuned for that! I can’t wait to see what she designs with my new yarn base (Zalti is 100% US grown and processed Targhee, worsted weight).
