Color Inspiration Thursday: Deep in the Abyss

Deep in the Abyss is a deep charcoal overdyed with navy, with flashes of bright purple, rich blue, and violet speckled on. It’s more of a variegated color than a “speckle” … deep and rich, with bright flashes now and then. Like I imagine sunlight might look from deep down in the ocean.

When I searched for images, that lovely photo of Daniel Craig popped up. Who am I to argue? 🙂

This was a colorway I shared last Spring, but somehow it didn’t make it onto my blog so, since I dyed more for my Fall shows and online shop, I thought I’d share it here as well.

I absolutely LOVE this color for reason (and I am not usually one for the really deep colors). Maybe I am channeling my inner crow (since my Mom once said I dressed like one!).

I really like it, too! It’s dark, but then it has these flashes of light and bright, so really interesting. It does remind me of the iridescence of crows, just a bit 😀

Will you have this at Berryville?
